I noticed that someone had a p roblem with BT Yahoo and Limewire. Their problem was that they could not upload though. I have BTYahoo Broadband and the YPCSERVICE that automatically pops up in task manager whenever you open a window that uses the internet might be what is stopping my limewire 4.12.4 from opening.

When i click on limewire icon the logo and 4.12 picture loads up, Then it goes away and nothing happens. When i open it whilst looking at the task manager i see that it MIGHT BE the YPCSERVICE thingy.


Please some HELP{ ME!!!!

Check the security settings on it & put LW on the exceptions list!!!

what exactly do u mean, it is in the WINDOWS FIREWALL EXCEPTION LIST, is there another exceptions list?

If bt yahoo stops you opening LW then it suggests an anti-spyware program that doesn't realise LW doesn't have spyware.
