 Besides that I do not quite understand what you mean with "a downward arrow", the LW preference folder versions starting with 4.12 is called " LimeWire " and can be found in the hidden Application Datat folder as described here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...imewire+folder Try to delete this one and see if that changes something.
