Ive got Limewire Pro and can run it on Windows XP but when ive put it on my other machine thats using Windows ME limewire is slow and slows the machine down
What can I do to make Limewire to speed up when I use it with Windows ME

Buy a faster CPU. lol
Make sure the Java is up to date. Perhaps an older version might run better on ME. It might be related to both CPU & RAM & available HDD such as used for virtual memory.If it's an older machine, then go easy with using LW. Don't resume/find sources on more than 1-3 files at a time. Don't over-work it. |
