Sharing problem i am trying to put a two minute movie i made on limewire, so i put it in my only shared folder, documents and settings then user then shared, its just that file, its an AVI. file and called sequencing sin but unfortunatly when i ask my friends to search for it they cannot locate it, why is this? getting very stressed so help would be appreciated |
Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Go to LW's Library window, select the Shared folder. Is the avi file red or black. If it's red, right-click it & choose Share. You can send a file to a friend via a magnet link. How to use Magnet Links & Direct Connect |
im sorry i never use limewire, whats the interface |
Interface means main window. Check the bottom of this page for a sample image of what I mean: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...91&postcount=2 |
yes i see the brick now its there |
Ok that means you have a firewall problem. Can you answer the questions in the link I gave in my last post. Thanks. Then we can find the reason & solution. ;) :) |
and the avi text is written in black |
Good. Black means it's being shared, red means it's not being shared. If you can answer me the questions I asked we can solve your problem so you can share the file without problems. ;) What firewall programs you have & what connection devices you're using are the main questions in this case. Oh & which operating system. |
im sorry what else have you asked, yes i have the brick, and yes the txt of avi is black??? |
sorry i see now i dont no the answer to all three sorry! |
