I can get on lime wire and start to download songs and stuff. But after about one - three minutes the whole program just turns off and disappears. What Should I do?

same thing happened to me, except on start up. everything looked like it was going to run ok, and then it would just close....weird. very weird, anyone have ideas?

If you are running 1.8 and have uninstalled cydoor's software, limewire will disappear as you are describing. I'd suggest searching the net for cydoor dummy files if you want to run 1.8 without the spyware.
