 Well, starting your computer in Safe Mode, that's what I meant. I think it's hitting F8 while your computer is starting to boot.

| Problem solved! It was the AV upgrade all along! After a 2 hour online chat with TrendMicro Support and uninstalling and reinstalling the firewall (among other things), my LW is as wonderful as ever! Even the speakers are back to normal - weird, eh? Yeehah! I can finally get some sleep.  |
