And you're sure about this......

If you were as smart as you think, you wouldn't be here in the forums seeking help from people who have already help a couple thousand users. There are specific viruses only effecting P2P clients (besides that they are only be transmitted via filesharing networks where smart guys like you download game files and other crap....)

Besides, you won't be a big loss for LW either.....

This **** program! i did that thing that one of you said earlier in the post (about doing it manually) and it worked.... the problem is that i like my music and it takes too long to use asurus (or however u spell it). so i re-installed limewire (btw... mine is limewire-pro). and it keeps starting up again... and no, it still minimizes into the system tray like one of you said to keep it that way.

i dont think its putting viruses on to my computer or anything (it might... i dont know) but if anyone think that is is than tell me and ill just get rid of it all together.

the only reason that i dont like it poping up is that its still running in the background (well... not truely running but its still a program thats open) and i like to have as few programs open as possible so my computer runs as fast as it can. so someone please let me know what i should do.

You have been told what the problem is, so go to Norbiesworld, submit a Highjack this log and he will help you clean it up....

Oh and Sdornbur, get rid of Norton and get yourself a decent AV prog. Avast and AVG are much superior to Nortons offering also less of a recourse hog too.
