| How about using something better than those both....? try the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without any problem: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ In case you really want to stick with the crappy WMP, right click a media file of yours, go to Open with... choose WMP and don't forget to click "Always use this kind of program"....
