I've been thru both a mouse & keyboard on this computer. Just got a new keyboard a couple of weeks back. I presume you tried the things I suggested. How about trying step 5 in the link I gave about fixes. ie: changing compatibility mode to either NT or 2000. Try both. This sometimes fixes odd issues for XP users. |

Yeah, I've done everything. Nothing has changed. I've enjoyed Limewire and have had nothing but good things with it, unlike others which I will not name. I like using LW and want to continue using it. I just wish this problem could get fixed. |

It's seems to be only Java programs. Opening Java Console has mouse disabled as well. Reading through the Java support forums, there has been a problem like this before with several other users. But, no way of fixing it. It just stops. |

How about the support site for the mouse? They may have some pointers or feedback about this type of issue. There may even be a firmware upgrade or something. It's obviously happened to other people. |

I use a Microsoft Wireless Intellamouse explorer 2.0 also a Microsoft wireless optical mouse 2.0 and a Kensington optical wireless pocket mouse. I have never seen this kind of problem with any of them. Perhaps you could see if there are any updated drivers for your mouse. |
