Default Newbie Looking For Help

I don't know if this goes here or not, but please just answer my qwery.

Hey, I've had LimeWire for a few years now, and recently got an iPod and iTunes. I love the combonation, but I'm wanting to increase space on my computer. I am gonna need around a Gig I'm guessing because I'm planning on getting WoW. I plan to go out tonight and buy half a gig, but for now I'm just gonna delete some unnecessary programs from my computer. I want to delete the program LimeWire, but keep all the songs intact in either another folder or iTunes. Currently all of my LW songs are in iTunes and I'm afraid that if I delete LW, that I'll lose all my LW songs on my iPod. I really would had to lose them all, but I also really need space.

So my question, can I delete LW and keep all the songs on my computer

Thanks

Deleting Limewire will not affect the songs on your computer, provided they are not saved in your Limewire Applications or preference folders (they should not be but it has been known to happen . Also do not attempt to delete songs from Limewire Library before deleting Limewire. That way you WILL loose them. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much!

I'm really glad I got a responce, and I'll make sure that the music folder is out of the LimeWire folder (I don't think it is)

Again, many thanks!
