limewire 4.12.6

I have deleted this but i keep on getting a message that says that there is a missing file or invalid. What can i do. I also got this message about 4.10.9. Is there a way that i could maybe re-download 4.10.9 and then install it and then delete it and then do the same with the new one?

Was your limewire not wanting to stay closed before uninstalling it?

If so then you got infected by some bad file you downloaded, and just uninstalling Limewire will not fix it.

If not, then maybe I can figure out where to get older versions

Yeah it did but i just ignored it thinking that it would dissapear but it didn't but it installed. when i went to put it on it just came up saying that there are files missing or invalid.

So what can i do and where can i download 4.10.9 from and will that sort out the problem?

No, the reason you have that problem is because you have a virus. Best fix is to go to norbie's site & get him to help you. He is an expert at this. NorbiesWorld (click on link). You will need to register at his site & follow his directions carefully.

After that's fixed, then reinstall LW 4.12.6 & it should be fine.
