 16 bit If you haven't installed java 1.4, then there will not be this registry key. try installing 1.3.1 and doing the install with that. Also, windows has not been 16bit since windows 95. 98/me/nt/2000 are all 32bit. xp is either 64bit or will be soon, i haven't kept track in the last while. I would try installing 1.3.1 and seeing if that error goes away. Also, you may have downloaded a wi*** version if such a thing exists. If anyone else has some thoughts, I'd like to hear them as well.
