Upgraded to 4.13 Beta to give it a try. Was not what I thought it was, few bugs. So I uninstalled and went back to 4.12.6 but now when I start LW, I get the old splash screen that says 4.13 Beta, but the correct version of LW does load. How can I correct this? I did run a registry cleaner and it did not help.

Same thing happened to me
I can't tell you why it happens but after I restarted my comp the old screen was back to stay!

I've restarted my computer several times and the splash screen is still 4.13 Beta !

Delete the LimeWire folder.

Try deleting LW's preferences when LW's closed (see points 2 & 3 below)

Deleting that folder will kill all of your settings within options, so you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards.

Thanks . It finally worked. I first tried deleting just the 413splsh.png file and it worked for 2 seconds, then the 413splsh popped up again. I then deleted the .limewire folder and reinstalled Limewire and everything appears to be in order.
