when playing music it skips or cuts out like something is interfering if i would of know this i would of stayed with version 1.6 now i cant tell if it the song or interference sucks

I don't know if limewire uses it, but it might be a problem with direct sound, part of directx. If you don't have it already, I would download the latest version of directx from http://www.microsoft.com/directx . I would also make sure you are not running any other program that uses directx at the same time, like a video game or winamp or something to that effect. Hope you find this somewhat helpful.
