Default Disney

Hi,
I have been using Limewire for awhile putting music on my ipod but now my son has a Disney Mix Max and I can't get the music on it. When I click Launch iTunes comes up instead of Windows Media player. Is there anyway to have both on my computer? And if so how to I get the songs from Limewire to Windows media player? Thanks so much. Just tryong to get ready for Santa.

go to the file location in windows explorer and right click then select start with and select windows media player.

Your problem is with the default player being itunes which is fine if you use that the most.

You can do this or open windows media player then go to file and select open then you can open the file this way.

I have Windows Media Player 10.

This is how you can make Windows Media Player (WMP) your default player:

Start WMP.

Click on tools, then options. (If you are in full view, you have to click on the tiny arrow in the upper right hand corner. It will say access application menus if you hover the cursor over it.)

Select the 'file types' tab.

Click on the files you want to play in WMP (Or just select all).

Click on 'Apply'

Click on 'OK'

Have fun!

OK I have that step but it still will not let me put my Limewire songs in Windows Media player. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Right-click on 'library'

Go to file...add to library...add folder.

Select the folder that you store your limewire downloads in.

Then, go to file...add to library...and look at 'by monitoring folders'.

I think that certain folders are included in your library by default (I don't remember having to add any).

These include folders like 'my music,' 'my videos,' etc.

If you don't want to transfer your limewire downloads to these folders, add your download folder to the list of monitored folders.

Hope this helps!
