Default All firewalls off but not according to limewire!

I have completely disabled the firewall for windows and the security on my router to low even though the ports are automatically opened by UPnP and I opened listening port 34171 so why does it still say that I'm firewalled?

Sorry, my first time using the forum and I didn't read the instructions for the forum! My bad!

1. Windows Xp pro with service pack 2 and all updates
2. Windows firewall currently disabled and an actiontec router currently on low security even though the ports for limewire are all open
3. 1024MB of 3200 DDR RAM
4. what does disk space have to do with a firewall anyway? 300GB drive in 3 partitions but the only one relative is 127GB with 12.4 available
5. Verizon Fios service (fiber optics) 5Mbps up, 2Mbps down
6. ActionTec router MI424WR the modem is from verizon and I don't touch it but they say it's not firewalled.
7. connecting from home
8. LimWire 4.13.0 Pro Java 1.5.0_9
9. Verizon is my isp
10. Your test worked!
11. There is another computer hooked to the router, don't know what more to say about that topic.
12. I've used other versions of limwire before this and still had the same problem I'm having now, I had to upgrade my limewire cause the last version wouldn't stay connected but that was fixed when I upgraded.
13. the brick wall is what I'm trying to get rid of.

Try port forwarding. If you go to the link below, you'll find instructions for your router. Don't forget to set up a static IP (there's a link within the link below), else port forwding won't work Remember...your LW listening port, port forwarded thru your router & port number to manually port forward within LW's firewall config page must all be the same! After setting up the p/f, it might take a while (say up to 1/2 hour) for the firewall icon to disappear.
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...R/Limewire.htm

Rather than running without a software firewall, configure the XP firewall to allow LW.

Default limewire 360share

i have 360share and have had a lot of difficulty.
its a long story but it involved a trying other programs due to not being able to connect on 360 share pro including using zultrax and a couple of other p2p programs . i finally signed up for emule and was given 360 share (paid for it) which i had in the first place. my money was refunded on request due to fact that i had already paid for it a fair while ago.

my 360share pro would not work either but was given info to diable jave.exe from the working processes. this required removing 360share completely from the computer and taking out any folders that referred to it.
then re-installing 360 share which then works for a while but after a couple of days jave.exe is triggered possible by 360share or by another program which stops 360share from connecting.
you can see the endless circle prevailing with this. not sure if there is a cure.
360share is very good when it is working but sooner or later java.exe kicks in and kicks out 360share connections.
hope someone has an answer.
