Darth Rage, you're not trying to move files from the shared "LimeWire tunes" within iTunes are you? That's just a playlist so you won't be able to move from that.
See if this helps, it has heaps of info ![]() Transferring music to iPod & iTunes |

Hi, I apologize if I'm just really being lame, but I've tried the tips and tricks stated here and in other threads to get the LW songs into my iTunes library so I can put them on my iPod, and my program literally isn't doing what not only the users here, but even the actual LW website, says it should do.
The LW website says to click and drag the songs over, and mine won't do that, it won't let me drag. I've tried other ideas as well, and it's like my program refuses to do what, in theory, it should do. I know others are having this problem - I'm not sure what to do! |

Hi Beezer,
Which version of iTunes are you using? You're not trying to move files from that shared playlist, are you? ![]() In LW go tools > options > saving. Now you'll see the location of your saved folder. Add to iTunes from this folder, instead of trying to add from LW's library. If you go to LW's library, click on Saved Files then click Explore...saved folder opens. In your iTunes, file > add file to library. Browse for your saved folder. Add a file or 2 from there...does it work? If not, go back & open your saved folder. Play a track using iTunes...does it add to the iTunes library (it might)?? Some people have huge issues adding to iTunes for some weird reason. I had a few with iTunes7 so I've reverted back to 6. Let us know if any of these work. Last edited by birdy; February 3rd, 2007 at 08:35 PM. |

I am also having issues since I did an automatic update to itunes7.
Going to "add to library" under the itunes menu, and adding songs that way, did work for me. But how do you revert back to version 6, because I didnt have a problem with that one? |
