why does limewire win 4.12.08 always shoot my cpu up to 100% when downloading? i don't recall it always being like this. i've just upgraded from a celeron 2.25ghz to a p4 3ghz, 2gb ram, and it often hits maximum cpu when downloading.
i just upgraded to build 11 and will monitor this closely as it's a new cpu and I wanted to do burn-in (good) but am worried about overheating. i upgraded to a zalman from the stock intel, which was helpful for the celeron but i'm not sure it's enough for the p4 |

Sounds like a bad Java install. Go to Start/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs. Remove all versions of Java and LimeWire. Now click on the Java button in my Sig and get Java (choose manual) use the offline installer and save it to your desktop. Reboot when Windows comes back up install Java using the installer you saved to your desktop, then install LimeWire
