Ok! what happened? This worked a couple of days ago! Now all of a sudden it starts to start or load up then quits.....

Try the tips in this thread....Try them all, but more than likely deleting your preference folder should have you up and running again...

I still do now know what happened. I had to put a registry fixer on it and ended up deleting the whole program before I could get it back on. Now I get an error saying "We have received many warnings of viruses and trojans pretending to be updates to LimeWire in your search results. You can only be sure a search result is direct from Lime Wire, LLC if it has a in the quality column.

If you have run such an update in the past, LimeWire may be corrupted. You must update with the current official version available here to guarantee you are using the latest official LimeWire.

Then it asks for me to redownload and pay again for the program. What is up with that?
