so heres my dilemma...
i download the file and it plays fine. then i restart my computer or shut it down and all my music files becoem compressed into .mp3 format and liemwire won't play them. this happends everytime i restart my pc and then i lose all my music. also, a message comes up saying "limewire won't open the fiel because of security reasons", that happends when it ry to paly oen fo the compressed .mp3 files. can soemone help guide me to fix this problem??? pleaseeE!@!

What file extensions are you downloading...are any files changing to .zip? LW will give you that error message if you try to launch .zip or .rar files. If your file extensions are changing then something's fishy.

Have a look here, see if that advice helps (download AVG free, update it & scan your computer). If not, post back & let us know
