Hi Tina
More info needed, since your question depends on what Operating System . . . . If on a Mac, just drag the extra icon off the dock and the icon will be removed without affecting the program itself |

Hi Tina. try posting in the Windows forums http://www.gnutellaforums.com/general-windows-support/ to get attention re the extra icon.
For the junk, just keep marking them as junk by using the little trash can. If too much junk keeps coming, use the File->Disconnect and then File->Connect to connect to new (and better) ultrapeers. They are the other machines that handle your searches, and if they give too much junk, they are connected to spammers. Currently, the devs are working on making that better, so watch for updates. Re adult stuff, lots will get through no matter what you do. However, you help by adding keywords to the Options->Filter->Keywords. This way any result that has the term you set won't show in your results. For now though, the most efficient practise is still to use common sense and ignore results that obviously look bad. After a while I don't even notice the junk ![]() cheers |

Just right click on them both and select exit and then go to your Task Manager and see how many limewire.exe's you have running in the processes tab...If it's more than one select end now to both and then fire up limewire again...
