| Vigilante There are two things to do that will stop most people from browsing you while still allowing you to share your files: a) Disable Chat - For some reason, with Chat enabled people can browse your shared directory/folder a lot easier, without it users find it difficult to browse. b) Use a firewall, like Zone Alarm, Norton PF, etc. A properly configured firewall will/can prevent browsing but will allow in P2P users searching for individual files. So with both facilities working you stand a 90 - 100% of getting what you want. I, myself, have disabled chat, use Norton Personal Firewall 2005, PeerGuardian and have a NAT firewall in my modem/router and I can still share my files and, I believe, without being browsed.
