I think the best thing for you to do, after you have got you PC clean again, is to stay away from LW for a while, start reading through this forum and see what problems other users are facing and how those problems are solved. Once you understand what's out there you can then use LW cautiously.

Bear in mind that LW is primarily a Peer to Peer application, not a downloading application, it enabled you to connect to other LW users PCs from all over the world. And as you are now finding out, not all PC users are "good" people.

If you want to download music I would suggest that you stick with sites like Amazon.com and similar sites.
