LM using 90% of cpu continuously

Hi - Just upgraded

to using LM 4.12.6 Pro and Java 1.5.0_10 on WinXP Pro - LM usues 80 to 100% of the CPU continuously - currently at 91% and varies between 80 to 100% - not downloading or uploading - anyone got any ideas why and how to cure it???
