I thought i had uninstalled limewire, but in the systyem, when i try to delete it from the computer, it says: invalid start mode:archive filename. what does this mean and how can I fix this problem? I want to try and re download limewire, but this is preventing me from doing so. thanks.

You must of uninstalled limewire the wrong way...
You need to uninstall using this method..
Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller

Use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. If you can't delete them, reboot into safe mode & then try. If they still won't delete, try one of the tools here...
Incomplete Download File won't delete at all.
