help me! (LW not opening?)

I have dell system with windows xp, limewire pro played good for 6 months,now program wont even work,when i hit the icom it downloads 50 % an then dissapears,thats it. limewire basic does nothing also. it shut down while i was watching a movie. norton security,D.S.L. high speed
