Well D You could be right but it still would not hurt to do a defrag, you may not realise this but to diagnose any computer problem you have to go through a process of elimination. So when Z suggested another version Java his point was that some LW users found the latest version of Java to cause problems while Java V1.5.11, which I use, worked as expected. Limewire changes my configuration the problem I am having is that on launching limewire, it goes into like a game mode, screen goes black and then my configuration changes to very large icons. Almost like it is running in safe mode. But when exiting it, everything goes back to normal? running xp and java 6 and latest pro version of limewire...i have the same setup on my laptop but it is running ok...????any help out there for this BTW have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same even did the deleting of preferences folder...i am stumped? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... |
Maybe you have it set in compatibility mode with low reolution? Go right click on the limewire shortcut and go to compatibility and see. I will look into the old version of java. |
