Hello Everyone,

I am new here and have been using limewire for a little while now, i am writing this because i have a question that i hope any of you kind souls can help me fix, Now a while ago i installed limewire and all was fine, recently i decided to use it and noticed that when i search for the file i want although the number of results will show i have to click on a space in the results box and highlight it to see or else it shows up all as a big white space. i immediately uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version from the limewire website but still the problem occurred, i checked out my skin listing and noticed that it was set to "Windows Theme" and after examining my laptop which also has limewire and i do not touch skins for it has it set to "Limewire Pro Theme" which the other does not have as well as a few others it does not have, when i change skins it makes no difference at all nothing changes and it still looks like the limewire theme only the search results are all white and cannot be seen without clicking on an area/highlighting.

Anyone know of a problem or solution similar to this and what it might be caused by ?

Any help would DEEPLY be appreciated.

It may have something to do with the Java version you are using, a lot of people can't use 1.6 u2 on their comps, but some can, not sure as to why..
So try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

Thanks for the response i will try that when i get near that PC some time this weekend, i have been googling and what you telling me and the results i found have much similarity in them so i will def check that out, once again thanks for the help
