Need help on fixing Limewire (stuck at 56% loading)

I've tried uninstalling Java and Limewire 4.14.8 and reinstalling them back over 15 times. It stopped at 56% when loaded, causing it to do nothing. Now I'll never delete some downloaded stuff there anymore. How to get rid of this problem?

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...

Been there, done that. It didn't work. And Lotr's fix helped me a bit but it doesn't help me at all after I stupidly closed it and try to open it again.

I'm gonna try installing the new java one more time and see if LW works.

You could also try an offline installation if your using limewire basic...

Uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...
