Arrow Limewire does not start?!?

I have downloaded the new Limewire. I have checked everything throughout the help section. But it just does not seem to work.
I start Limewire and a window pops up saying its loading. Then it completes loading and never actually opens up. Ive checked to see if its running in the background but its not.
Can anyone help me with this problem please?
It would be fantastic if you could!

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

Unhappy

I took the above advise & uninstalled the latest version of Java & installed 5.0 update 11. I also double checked my firewall settings. Limewire still won't load past 12% HTML engine. I'm running Vista home basic with a SpeedStream 4200 DSL modem with Windows Live OneCare for my protection suite. Any suggestions?

I followed the steps as discribed in that link you supplied. I even checked the registry & restarted my system... same thing. Still only getting as far as 12% HTML Engine.
