![]() I just updated to Limewire 4.14.10 because the message said it would get rid of erroneus results when conducting a search. Boy did it ever! In fact, it got rid of ALL results when conducting a search. Does anyone out there know what causes this? I tried to download the old version from Limewire, but apparently only old versions for Mac are offered. Right now the software is basicly useless, unless I can figure out a way to get SOMETHING back when conducting a search. Thanks to anyone who might have advice. |

![]() Are you connected properly (green connection bars)? If so, try the fixes below. 1. In LW go tools > options > searching > basic & check whether the 'show license warning' box is ticked. If it does, untick it > Apply > ok...see if that makes any difference. 2. Problems with the search 3. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. |

![]() i updated to the new version of Limewire and for some reason... when I type in a song or artist NOTHING comes up. It goes through a complete search and has NO results. I uninstalled/reinstalled the program 3 times... and nothing changes. I went through all the toubleshooting and everything is set up right. I had Limewire for 5 years and never had this problem. What do I do to fix this and download music. Please help me!!! |

![]() When you deleted the preferences folder, did all of your settings within LW's options revert to default? Try WW's advice here about installing PeerGuardian2 & the hostiles list...see if that helps. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/291773-post2.html If none of that helps, you could try reinstalling Java. Try this version, download the offline installer & remove any other Java versions before you install this one. Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 |
