Limewire is Acting funny???Messing up Windows!

Ok, I uninstalled LimeWire from my computer the other day and now I keep getting this window that pops up ( I attached an image of the screen print) everytime I close the window, about 15seconds later it pops up again! I cant boot windows in safe mode and when I try to access command prompt or hit CTRL+ALT+DEL it says its not a valid win32 app!!!! I reinstalled Limewire hoping it would help but everytime I exit limewire it starts back up after about 15sec and theres nothing I can do about it. Any advice besides throwing my computer against the wall???

Yeah I know it was, I browsed the forums and found that other people had the same problem. I should have did that before I posted. Good thing because it was my work comp, I shouldnt have installed limewire on it in the first place.

help!! o/s xp pro, lottsa hardrive, twin 56k modems-the problem
i was running limewire pro4.12.6 and noticed when file completed and either said saving file or verifying file contents, the time it took got longer. instead of a few seconds itook up to 1min to 1 and half mins. It also takes the same time when i cancel a file from the download window. in this 1min plus it hangs the puter and nothing can be done. if song playing it skips. pro started nagging to up grade which i did to 4.14.10 hoping it would go away. it didn't!! I will upgrade to the new pro but not untill i get a handle on the problem. i run 3 different spyware progs and avast- which are up to date-nothing was found with avast and only the usual junque with the spyware. ant help woud be appreciated

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...This will reset your configurations back to default and get rid of any corruption that may of happened...
