Hi,Thanks, first off, for any help in advance. Much appreciated!I downloaded LimeWire easily enough, & was pleased to collect a few songs on my first trip through. No problem accessing them, but here's the trouble I have. Not sure if it's common or what, but here it is...I can't seem to get back to the page where you search for new files. I can access my existing ones because I have them saved onmy comp, but now when I try to open LW it asks me to install (even though it is) & tells me an older version is running. Anyone familiar with this? Obviously right now I can't search for new files because I can't reach the search/download page. Is there a way to access it from the mainpage or something? Thanks!

Are you using Pest Patrol? Check out the thread below
![]() http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...-limewire.html If that's not the problem, open task manager (ctrl/alt/del) & see if there's a LW process running. If there is, end the process. Now reinstall LW & make sure to use the offline installer (when you click to download LW & the dialog box pops up, cancel that...now use the option to download the offline installer). There's no need to uninstall your current LW, when you install a new version it'll automatically remove the old one
