![]() Hi: Sometimes after I exit LW the "Please wait while LimeWire shuts down" applet remains long after the LW icon goes away, with the moving green bar. I think the thing is stuck and I can't turn it off. The only way I can get rid of it is to reboot my machine. Can you help? XP, 4.14.10 Pro, Java 1.5.0 Cheers, Bruce |

![]() Seems that your Java is a little out of date. Might try upgrading. See Links below. Java SE Downloads 4th one from the top. Or try this older version, which has worked well for lots of people: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before installing another one. |
