Limewire does not recognize my email address... In the past several years, I've purchased Pro on two separate occasions, each for different computers. The first purchase was an on line download, but the second one, a disc was sent me by US mail, which I still have, as well its original packing, with the Madison Avenue address (for Limewire). My problem is this: I've been out of the country and recently returned and purchased yet another notebook. When I inserted the Limewire Pro disc everything went well without a single hitch except until arriving at Limewire's actual site where repeated messages advise me to update (4.8 Pro) to a newer version. When I attempt this, despite Limewire's credo of it being a onetime purchase, my email address is not recognized and, for all intents and purposes, I'm sent packing down the road. Now, the version I have is fine; I'm satisfied. It is just that Limewire's repeated flashing in red letters sign advising me of a newer version is a damn nuisance! Please, will someone tell me how I might resolve this issue? Thanks sincerely, vsjane |
