help me! I'm new to this...(Burn a cd and transfere files to mp3)

I want to put my songs on a cd and my mp3 player, but I don't know how. None of the songs that I download on Limewire go onto my Windows Media Player, so I can't put them on a cd or mp3 player. I don't know what to do???? I need help please!!!!
