hello! i'm trying to uninstall limewire on my laptop w/ windows vista. i clicked on the uninstall thing and it said that it finished but limewire still works just as before! do you guys know how to actually uninstall and get rid of it?

This is for XP but I'm sure Vista is similar. You'll have to try.


Go to Start > All Programs > Limewire > Uninstall.
Go to Start > Search > All Files/Folders. Type in limewire > search.
Delete Everything Limewire. If there are files that won't delete. Look here.
Incomplete Download File won't delete at all. Then Reboot.
