Limewire pro shuts down

Can anyone help please??? Limewire pro shuts down completely when my screensaver comes on or computer goes into standby mode Im running windows XP and limewire pro 4.12.3 it is becomeing very annoying as my downloads never complete.
I have tried unistalling and reinstalling still does the same thing..
