Options not available, and other serious issues

I can not click on options on my limewire. It pops up for s split second, too fast to read it, and then dissappears. On top of that, I have that issue where the stupid thing keeps opening itsself up after I close it. I deleted it and redownloaded it, and it happened again. I cant change anything in my settings since that wont open. What should I do?
Also, I have noticed that users who used to put lots of things like movies out there, are not posting files that appear to be normal but when you open them they say that you need to go to a site to get a code to watch them, then you get spammed to death and full of adware. Can anything be done about those people?

I see that this is your first post since December 11...
This suggests to me that you have either been on a wonderful holiday with no computers... OR this problem with Options is very new...

So, obvious question is what has changed ?
LW update or other apps newly installed or what ?

As far as I know, nothing has changed. I use limwire almost every day since I share a large amount of files and I feel strongly about giving if your gonna receive. I had just completed a download about a week ago, several downloads actually, and I was having trouble doing some others things I needed to do because my resources were so low. I closed limewire, and it popped back up. THis happened over and over. Finally I deleted it entirely so I could finish what I was doing. I went through my registry and deleted all the keys, deleted it from the documents and settings and all that jazz. The next day I went back to limewire.com and redownloaded it. Right away I noticed that I could not open options. I still managed to complete some uploads and downloads, although I could not arrange the settings the way I wanted them to be. I figured Id find out about the problem with options later. THen when I tried to close it again it kept reopening. I figured it was a glitch or a virus or maybe a corrupt DL. I ran 3 different virus scans, and found nothing real. I cleared everything out, and tried again. Same problem, no options, restarting itself. I just hadnt had the time to go and ask about it until today.
