Default Limewire Options pops up and closes in less than 1 second. Help ?

Simply put everytime i try bring up my Limewires Options it will pop up and close in less then a second idk why its doing this any ideas?

You could have some sort of bug, this can happen when you download something nasty...

I must mention the problem I had. I'm using Windows XP. LimeWire was doing "the one second" bit. No problem, says I, I'll do the Frostwire thing. Same results, ie one second. Okay I give up, no Limewire for over a year.
Okay, along comes Norton360. Norton360 wants me to add windows passwords. Two weeks and $129 later, I got Norton360 happy with no passwords. HOWEVER, both LimeWire and FrostWire both now work. Go figure!!
Whatever it was Norton Internet Security 2006 and 2007 couldn't detect it.

After much reading and much thought, I'm now guessing it was Windows PS2 which caused the problem somehow (firewall?). PS2 can along about the the time I started getting the "one second" bit.
