I fixed my computer!!

Solution:

I went to AVG Free Advisor - AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition and downloaded their free trial software, ran it about 4 times on the full scan and had it delete every problem it found. Then I re-installed LimeWire and everything is working like a champ now.

No more secret c:\windows\fonts\' folder. LimeWire stays closed when I close it. I can access the options window now.

Lesson learned... antivirus software alone is not enough. I thought I was covered. I guess not!
