![]() Hi, Everytime I start up my computer, LimeWire wants to run automatically. I unchecked the box corresponding to system startup in the options menu. Can someone please help me? It's very annoying. I don't know how to stop it from autorunning. Thanks Nick |

![]() I am also having this problem. I unchecked the "Connect at Startup" box, however, the LimeWire program stills insists on loading at startup. It doesn't connect, but it loads. How do I stop it from loading except when I specifically want it to load? |

![]() Go into your windows start menu and find the section Programs/Startup . You should find that Limewire has listed itself in this section. Just right click and delete the Limewire reference there and Limewire will then only start when you want it to. Don't forget that you will have to connect manually (File/connect) otherwise you will get no listing of songs or whatever you are searching for. Very tricky this.. it knows how to put itself on the start menu but when you want to remove it you've got to do it manually. Last edited by RobertR; June 9th, 2008 at 10:41 PM. |
