Your finger(s) must be really sore from clicking 30 000 times. Go & have a coffee (or a NSAID).

Did you download the offline or online installer? Always go for the offline...less chance of any corruption within the installer.
When you click to download & a dialog box pops up, cancel it. Now use the option to download the offline installer.

Which version of Java are you using?? Try the latest update here. Use the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions installed, before you install the new one.
