LOST LIBRARY and new Limewire "version"

HELP!! I've had "Limewire" for years now and have over 1,000 mp3 downloads in my Limewire library. I got a "message" come up on my screen when I went to play some tunes out of my Limewire library saying to "update" to a newer free version of Limewire, so, I did and followed the instructions listed to do so. It loaded and at first everything was fine (but the new screen looked a little different) and I played some chosen music. Now when I came on line and went to my Limewire icon and clicked it to load it up, when it came up I NOW HAVE NO, REPEAT NO LIBRARY!!!!!! WHERE IS IT AND WHERE DID IT GO?? I clicked all the + & - boxes on the left for files, like "shared" ect. but I cannot find any of my mp3's that were in my library!! HOW DO I GET MY LIBRARY BACK? PLEASE HELP, that's 3 years of work and all of my loved classic rock mp3's. Please, if you can help, EMAIL ME with how to regain my library, even if I had to go back to the older version of Limewire, I just want my music back and to be able to play them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, IN ADVANCE!!

Sticky: If you've updated LW and can't find your downloads!

Would be a Great Idea to take a look at All of the Stickies, as they contain enormous amounts of Info and Fixes.

THANK YOU for your help!! I am going to see if I can find my old library as per your instructions. If I have no luck I will drop you another note. Again, thank you for getting back to me on this problem. It seems as though that the computer savy people would have made this just, well, automatic and that the end user would not have to go through this.
