First for putting my first query in the right place (sorry about that!) and second for replying (I wasn't sure if anyone would). I tried to go back and add a furtherence to it but I couldn't find it.

I wanted to say that I solved my problem (pretty sure!). It turned out that my Java was two up-dates behind, so I re-installed it anew to insure against any possible file corruption and everything works just fine now (LW ran all night long without a single complaint!).

What a difference two up-dates can make, I had no idea!
