Default Trying to start Limewire reboots computer

I posted over in the 'Connection Problems' forum, but don't think that's really the proper place, as I can't get Limewire to even start.

OS XPPro SP2
P4 3.0 Ghz
2 gb ram

I was running XP SP2, but without Windows updates. Limewire ran fine.

I reformatted because of other problems and now installed a new copy of XPPro SP2 and did the Windows updates. Downloaded Limewire 4.16.6.0, but when try to start it, my computer crashes/reboots. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple times.

It seems to me it has something to do with one of the updates, but can't seem to find a fix. I tried the TCPIP.SYS fix outlined here :

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...6-06-15-a.html

but didn't change anything.

Any other suggestions?
