probably virus related

i had to uninstall limewire about two weeks ago because i encountered a problem somewhere.i have downloaded something.backdoor trojan and another error called downloader.i have reinstalled limewire twice since then.my shared files counter starts running extremely fast and doesnt stop.i try to stop sharing files,but my options screen wont come up.im now back to square 1.uninstalled limewire,new java. can somebody make some sense of this?i cant

You have a virus. Try d/loading AVG free (click on link) update it and do a scan, then follow the prompts.
