Are you certain that you downloaded LimeWire from the correct site?
Also run a virus scanner over your complete computer and make sure to include your startup folder and everything associated with where you had LimeWire installed.

Default Sucess!!!!

hi just wanted to let you know i figured it out! yay! it was a problem with a java update my comp automatically downloaded. unistall limewire and reinstall, uninstall all java related programs (through add remove icon in controll panel) restart computer, click on limewire and a box should apear saying it needs java 1.5 to run click the link, it will take you to the java website and dowload current java 1.5 program once finished click on limewire and it should boot up and take you through the set up prompts.
hope it works for you as well as it did for me! let me know
