Jw02 is flying high
Default Can't open limewire

When I click to open limewire some java things comes up saying a startup error somethine. It says to dowload limewire again or go to support...I could not dowload it again for several reasons..But this is what the error was:

LimeWire version 4.16.2
Java version 1.6.0 from Sun Microsystems Inc.
Windows Vista v. 6.0 on x86
Free/total memory: 32117784/33357824

Delete all files that contain Lime wire and than do a re-download.Even delete Java to.

Yea I deleted limewire and java and went to download limeiwre again, and it come up in the middle of it saying something like "this installation is corrupted. please download and install limewire again"

Try this...

Install Java first. You can download the latest version here: Java SE Downloads
Download the JRE offline installer & remove all other Java versions installed on your computer (via Add/Remove Programs) before installing this one.

Next, download the LW offline installer... after you choose your platform, a dialog box will pop up. Cancel that & use the option to download the offline installer

See whether LW installs properly now.
