I am using Windows XP, SP2 on a Sony Laptop. Tried using windows to remove Limewire. But, it did not remove. Still has a large folder under Programs which will not let me remove any of the files.
Need help removing Limewire. jswt |

The correct way to remove LW is Start Menu -> Programs -> LW -> Uninstall.
LW also has an uninstaller in the program folder. |

So, then I must reinstall Limewire to remove it? It does not show up in the All Programs files under the Start menu. jswt |

That's probably because you only half removed it using the Add/Remove Programs Control panel.
Only way I can think of fixing that up is to use your computer search function, and delete all limewire listings you see. And then run this utility to clean up your registry: Crap Cleaner |
